A Sushi&Co. Story

Sushi & Co opened its first store in March 2012 in Bayswater, Victoria. With the aim to supply fresh Japanese produce to Australian customers, from humble beginnings, the company has grown rapidly from 1 store to 5 stores in 2014.

In December 2014, Sushi & Co partnered with Ritchies Supermarket Group and introduced the “In-Store-Sushi Bar” to the supermarket. Today, we are proud to have our sushi kiosks opened in over 12 SUPA IGA supermarkets, offering a handy path for customers to grab a quick and healthy bite while they do their daily grocery shopping.

We believe that the taste of Sushi is all about where the ingredients comes from, how the chef preps the ingredients and most importantly, how fresh these products are. Sushi & Co’s ingredients are sourced both locally and from Japan — where sushi is originally from. We have our fresh produce and seafood delivered daily to ensure its quality and freshness. We also guarantee that all our sushi products are all made and sold within the same day. All Sushi & Co chefs are required to have minimum of twelve months experience in the business to become an independent chef for each outlet.

Sushi & Co have bonded by our love of classical sushi and as well as subsequently created our sublime Fusion-Style menu that is full of flavors including: Crunchy Roll, Dragon Roll, Tiger Roll, Sushi Sandwich, Sushi Donut, Sushi Poke, etc. Brown rice and Black rice option are also available on request at selected stores for sushi lovers who are looking for a healthful staple with low GI and high fiber option.
